Charlie Woods at the Junior PGA Championship: Score, results

Charlie Woods made a remarkable climb on the leaderboard after the second round at the 49th Junior PGA Championship on Wednesday at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana.

After a second day on the course, Woods had a crowd that watched him make nine birdies and finished the second round with a score of 6-under 66 at Purdue University. This brought his total score to 7-under, placing him in a tie for fifth with Carson Kittsley from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This performance follows a week in which Woods missed the cut at the U.S. Junior Amateur, finishing with a score of 14-over.

The competition is fierce at the 49th Junior PGA Championship with Lunden Esterline from Andover, Kansas, currently leading the leaderboard with a score of 14-under. Currently, the top 60 players and ties, with a projected cut at 1 under, will advance to Thursday’s Round 3. Here is the status of the leaderboard:
